Snapshots from a Sunday, vol. 7

I think what makes us human - is our interconnectedness among people. It's our ability to form and maintain relationships. It's the barometer by which we call ourselves human.

My things were ready for an early morning walk. However, I forgot how dark and tiring it is that early in the morning so I went back to bed and slept another two hours. The bottom photo is where those shoes took me this morning, along the beach in Carmel , CA on the Monterey Peninsula . You can see the surfers in the front and in the background the golfers at Pebble Beach.

Out on my morning run, just before the rain started. Annunciation of the BVM I'll see you again in a couple hours.(I took about 20 pictures on my run, but was only satisfied with this, the very last snap I got, just in the nick of time.)

As always, thank you so much for contributing.  If you still have to send your picture, send away and I'll add it in.  Sorry it took so long this week- I was busy recovering from a quickie trip to Gettysburg with the family, which you can read about, in all its glory, here.

Next month I think I'm going to do something a little different with Snapshots, so stay tuned!

Also, those of you who notice that regular Snapshots contributor Dwija isn't here this month will be happy to know that it's because her gorgeous little one finally arrived!  Congratulations on the birth of Mary Isabel!

    1. Since the birth of Baby 5 (we like to call him Cinqo), we have become Marquette Model NFPers. Can we still be friends?

  3. I may be wrong, but I think Colleen is a Marquette Method NFPer. The only reason I say this is because I am one and I recognize the Clearblue Easy Monitor. Either that, or the Martins are looking to expand! ;)

    2. I'm a Marquette Method NFPer too, so I recognized the CBE (and the high fertility reading!) immediately. ;)

    3. I love finding other MM users, as it seems we are in the minority. Boy, that just about defines my life: even amongst a minority (nfp users) I am a minority ( mm user)! Ha! Well, hello to both of you!
