First and foremost, make sure that your precious little angels never ever come into contact with dubious aspects of popular culture.
As this video shows, I am an expert at this sort of shielding.
(in their heads, the boys were all He-Man during this song, because of this other part of the culture they've never seen.)
(and by "never seen", I mean, "ask for it all the dang time")
Stay tuned for more not-to-be-missed tips on raising saintly children.
"he-man" is a part of my childhood that is now forever ruined by that song.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that is awesome! My in laws say all the time that there is something special about my son and they firmly believe he will be a priest some day. They have never heard the music on his Fisher Price IXL. The boy is a Justin Bieber fanatic! Thanks be to God there is a headphone port on the thing! Of course that doesn't keep him from belting it own Bieber style and off tune! ;) The kids (this includes the hubs) absolutely love all the comic book videos to Skillet's music. Kinda takes a little away from the message but hey, as long as they are listening to it, right? hehe
DeleteI wanna go to your heaven :)
