Linking up with the fine ladies at Fine Linen (heh. Like that? I'm a wordsmith.)
I love keeping you guys on your toes. Two weeks after talking about how I've currently exiled myself into The Land of Schlubby Mass Clothes As Punishment, I reaped the sole benefit of the flu, and found myself unexpectedly able to fit into a pre-pregnancy dress.
A. As in one. But it's better than none!
So I ramped up my Mass apparel game and will be rocking the following ensemble at the 5 o'clock Happy Clappy/Last Chance Mass at good old St. Catherine's this evening:
jean jacket: Old Navy
dress: Macy's, clearance rack, back when I had lost the post-Jude baby weight
shoes: Kohl's
photographer: My husband, since I felt stylish enough to be able to psychologically endure being photographed by another human being
Head over to Fine Linen and Purple for more Masswear.

hottest of them all.
ReplyDeleteall the linkers just need to turn around and go home.
and love the happy/clappy descrip --- so true. I like a Mass sans music. call me scrooge but it's true.
Ahh mass sans music is awesome. My kids if we ever hit up daily mass have it ingrained in them that they do not want to get stuck at an all school mass. My four year old has been known to pray as we're pulling up. "Please God, don't let it be an all school mass." Cause you know they always throw in a saccharine meditation hymn. Jk... sort of.
DeleteUmmm this is so true! One reason why I love the traditional Latin low Mass... you don't even do the responses... so soothing. You'd think it would be easier to be distracted but it's actually less distracting. I do like beautiful music at Mass, but at our parish you're often better off without any music...
DeleteLove the shoes!
ReplyDeleteTruly, you could not be any more adorable.
ReplyDeleteaaahhhh i want to jump through the screen and steal your shoes!!!
ReplyDeletei love love love this outfit.

ReplyDeleteHeh, oh yes- the old boy-I-feel-terrible-but-I-think-I-look-pretty-hot illness diet! So reliable, and the only way you don't have to apologize to your mother for losing weight.
ReplyDeleteOops, did I just reveal too much?
So cute! I think the whole ensemble is a lot of fun, and the shoes are sassy!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it ridiculous how satisfying it is to fit in something from the per pregnancy days?.
Gorgoeusness! That dress is so super cute. Looking good! :)

ReplyDeleteThose shoes are cute!
ReplyDeleteI bet you were the best dressed at that Mass! I don't know why Mass starting after 5 automatically translates to ripped jeans and athletic gear...

Wow. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI did the happy/clappy Mass today as well. The entire time I was dreaming of some Gregorian chant. oh well. Really love the pattern on the dress. Paired with the casual jacket really works.
