1. We've got ourselves 200 emergency meals.
2. I've already dug out all our hats and scarves in preparation for this week's theme.
3. As long as the power holds out, I'll be spending my snow day enjoying all your pictures.
Earlier, Ken offered to be my scarf model. I said, "Yay!" and "Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes".
He said, "How do I do that?"
"Give me a look of haughty arrogance."
"How do I do that?" he sighed, rubbing his forehead in that way he does when he starts wishing he hadn't gotten involved with my schemes.
"Just look how you usually do," I said, and took this one:
Ken wearing a scarf.
Haughty arrogance.
Nailed it.
Nailed it.
Now your turn! Don't forget- if you don't have a blog, you can post your picture on the Clan Donaldson Facebook page.

Ken, if you weren't a married man....
ReplyDeletehahahaha!!!!
DeleteLooking a little debonair...
ReplyDeleteLove it! Haughty arrogance nailed, and that is the best kind of arrogance there is, n'est pa? Along with showcasing the handsome, I love the light in this picture. Did you use your light card at all?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, so appreciated your thoughtful words yesterday on using what you've got. You have such an air of generosity about you.
Thank you, Rebekah.
DeleteAnd I didn't use the light card, though Ken kept teasing me about it the whole shoot. "Hey, don't you want to use your light card incorrectly some more? Maybe put it behind my head, to light it up real nice?"
Heh. He's not just a looker. He's a comedian.
Ken needs a new job beina a scarf model. =)
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteHa! THis is perfection.
ReplyDeleteElementary.
ReplyDeleteAll week long, I've been keeping my eyes open for the right hat. Sunday at Mass, I looked across the church (we have that curvy kind of seating) and saw a koala bear looking around. I kept thinking that some kid was probably moving a toy around, but no, there was just a little koala bear turning his head this way and that, looking around. Finally I realized that it was a hat on the head of a kid that was shorter than the back of the pew. For the rest of the Mass, I had to fight the temptation to whip out my phone and take a picture, but I behaved myself, and by the time Mass was over, the kid had removed the hat. Boo.

Awesome pic! A total stud!
ReplyDeleteOooooh la laaa Ken boy. Cari, you must be so proud. That pic's something to flaunt for SURE!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, it doesn't even feel like the shot is from this century!
ReplyDeleteYou need to frame that picture!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThat photo is amazing.
ReplyDelete"Just look how you usually do." Oh my gosh. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteHandsome! Maybe I need to make my husband pose for me so I can put a picture of him in my office...
ReplyDeleteIt's the black and white that really accents Ken's brooding. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Rosie - I need to have my hubby actually pose for a pic, so that I have one for my office (the laundry room/kitchen sink)! This is my first time linking up, and I'm excited to be here!

ReplyDeletePossibly my favorite photo of all time. Ever. He had better not make you take it off facebook. You two really were made for each other :)
ReplyDeleteYou have hit upon a powerful link-up market, my friend! This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteOk, I just got through all the links and I think it's funny that almost no one else tried hat/scarf as still life. Apparently we all see the beauty in people. Love all the links.
