Good mom that I am, I take the kids to the Catholic camporee today. All day. 8:30 am to 8 pm. At a boyscout camp. I chased Michael. I stopped him from certain death many times. I wore mud, moss, insects. We came face to face with a giant snake. I changed the nastiest diaper ever. Outside. On the ground. Using all the stuff I had crammed into the backpack I lugged around all day. I should be grateful about the lessons learned regarding great American Saints. I am. I really am.
